ITINERARY

Duration: All day ( 7 am to 18 pm approx.)

Departure from Cusco in the direction of Ollantaytambo to visit the archaeological site in the morning with a beautiful illumination and avoiding the large masses of tourists that arrive in the afternoon. This sacred temple and socio-economic control point was designed with impressive majesty and precision. Its builders used blocks of several tons brought from a quarry located more than 15km away.

Then, we cross the Sacred Valley of the Incas to reach the Potato Park, where there are a number of Andean communities that preserve several varieties of native potato. Here we will meet with a local family who will show us their daily customs based on agriculture and weaving. This same family will invite us to taste their delicious organic and healthy cuisine.

After lunch, we head to the archaeological site of Pisac. Construction of unsurpassed aesthetic value. We will see its terraces that are attached to the curved mountains and its different administrative and religious neighborhoods skillfully superimposed on the hills.

Return to Cusco at the end of the day
